Camping and swimming with friends in 3 Rivers and Sequoia National Park California

I posted this last night with out any text. As I watch it today I think to myself how incredibly good it felt to be alongside the river feeling wild and care free. It was amazingly peaceful to be among the giant trees with only the sounds of nature surrounding me in all directions. The early morning sun light came in between the trees and filled me of promise that the rest of the day would be refreshing and whole. And beyond those words, it was!
There were only 4 people there I knew when I got there and it took a day for us all to warm up to each other but by the next day we all felt cozy with each other. With each person is a universe of personality, karma and expression of self. It was wonderful to interact with new people in such a beautiful setting. And go from strangers with polite greetings to friends with smiling laughter with each other as we enjoyed the day and conversation with one another.
This trip seemed to put all the stars back into my night sky that I forgot I had been missing for a while. I realized they were actually always there but I had to take myself to a better place to where they can be seen and no longer forget to look up at the sky.

I remember staying at a hotel in 3 Rivers. Tarantulas and humming birds everywhere. Loved that place.

Man the Kaweah River is like in the mid-50s that time of year...... but when the air temperature is like 102 - 104 you'll jump in!
