Robyn Rooke - Miss Pole Princess

OMG I can't believe I'm uploading this. This is my first competition entry from 2006. Miss Pole Princess - A purely amateur competition. I had been on the pole approx 8 months at this point.

I don't think I would be where I am now had it not been for the buzz I got out of entering this competition!

Thanks for proving that we all start somewhere and that it takes time and hard work to progress and develop skill. Sometimes I am so critical of myself by comparing to other people, of what I 'should' be able to do. Well done! Hope for me yet, ha xx

@weetrixi That's exactly why I posted this. So many people comparing themselves! Everyone started at the beginning.

Also that the experience of competing or performing can be even more important than the prize itself. Competing gives you a goal, and spurs you to improve yourself.
