In response to the massive ridicule of Vista's speech recognition, I've decided to make and post this video.

  • Hey Markiash. just wonder what video capturing software are you using?

  • I used Fraps 2.9.8, it records programs running on directx. Since Vista's Aero runs through DirectX, Fraps can record Vista's desktop.

It will not work on any previous versions of Windows, such as XP or 2000, but it's not hard to find a replacement recording software.

  • What do you use to compress the file. coz when i'm recording using fraps. the files are way too big for youtube use.

    thanks.

  • You have to render it through a video editing software.

  • how did you split word and firefox into perfect halves?

  • I used a program called "AeroSnap", google it, it's free and works like a charm.

    Hope that helps.

  • Shows Voice Recognition does something, a ton of Mac people hate on Vista because it got voice recognition to a higher state first.

  • First. Good job on the video man. Hopefully this will throw down those naysayers.
