SYMMES TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKRC) -- Firefighters are investigating the cause of a fire that gutted a $700,000 home in Symmes Township early Tuesday morning.Neighbors called 911 after hearing an alarm at the home on Withers Lane going off. When fire crews arrived, the house was fully engulfed in flames. Fire investigators are focusing on the front corner of the house. They believe that's where the fire started. The homeowners were spending the winter in Florida. They've been down there for about a month. They have been notified about the fire. We're told the home is a complete loss. Firefighters say little, if anything, can be salvaged. No one was hurt.
