Performing SMASH at Breakin' Convention 09 | Sat 2 May
Impact Dance is a Hip Hop Dance Theatre Company, Street Dance Organisation and Educational Facilitator formed in 1995 by artistic director Hakeem Onibudo. The style of dance is Hip Hop dance fused with contemporary movement and physical theatre. Fourteen years on the company continues to produce fresh new and original works most notably Circular Disorientation which premiered at Breakin Convention 07. From there the multimedia duet was programmed at British Dance Edition 2008, Dance Umbrella 2008 and Firsts 2008 at the Linbury at ROH2. Impact Dance is also responsible for the fresh new platform/choreographic lab Twos A Company, staged at East London Dance and the new LiveVibe cabaret night held at Sadler's Wells.

SMASH was originally performed at East London Dance's Small Dances in July 2008.
