Assisting victims and the families of victims who are affected by a violent crime that has yet to be solved. Please contact Houston Crime Stoppers at 713-222-8477 "Tips" or your local authorities if you have any information on these cases.

Unsolved Violent Crime alert (UVCA) is a non-profit organization founded by Mrs. Jennifer J. Johnson in December, 2004; one year and for months after her oldest daughter's body was found in a field. With no information to this date as to what happened to her daughter or who is responsible for here death, a frustrated Mrs. Johnson realized that someone had to have heard or seen something that could help bring justice to this unsolved crimes and closure for their grieving family. This organization is designed to assist victims and/or the families of victims who are affected by a violent crime that has yet to be solved. This organization serves as a support group for victims and their families as well as promoting community involvement free from fear and danger by urging citizens to come forward with information that could help solve a violent crime. No one is immune from being a victim of a violent crime; but as a community, we can spread the message that we are the voices of hope and the light of justice. And, as human beings we have the right to live a life free of violence.

UVCA Memorandum

Unsolved Violent Crime Alert! commends all members for becoming part of this organization.
We stand together not only as an organization but as a united family. UVCA and its family members will strive to become known as the voices of hope for all victims of unsolved crimes. With God on our side and in our hearts, UVCA mission is to live a life free of violence, will one day be fulfilled.

UVCA will remain dedicated to each family member until all unanswered questions have been answered and justice is served. And as members of this organization, we ask that you allow us the opportunity to provide the assistance your family needs until your tears of the unknown, will become tears of peace and contentment.

As an organization we must remember to stand together. We want every citizen to know that UVCA is the voice of hope and the light of justice. For every door that is opened, we want to rejoice as a whole. As an organization, we promise to uphold its responsibility and utilize all channels until your loved ones crime has been solved. By accomplishing this, we must work together until all work has been done.

To All Unsolved Violent Crime Victims and/or their families: We would appreciate a picture of all victims, their name, date of birth, date of crime and a description of what happened to them. We want everyone across the country to know that no one should have to live with the unknown and we will not give up until the "Purveyors" are behind bars. This is a diverse organization dedicated to making sure that justice is served by keeping the faces of all victims' of an Unsolved Violent Crime in the publics eye. All candlelight vigils are held in the Greater Houston Area and Surrounding Areas. If you or someone you know is a victim of an unsolved violent crime and would like to have a candlelight vigil honoring the memories of your loved ones at or near the location where the crime took place, please contact UVCA to make arrangements to schedule a date, time and location. Our loved ones may be gone, but they are not forgotten because together we will keep the faces of our loved one's in the publics eye. Candles will be supplied at no charge.
