  • My reason for my opinion is the same. Internet providers want to turn it into a cable package (basic, premium etc..) and that's bullshit. The internet is supposed to be an open technology. Many buisness got where they are because of the way the internet is right now. Now companies like comcast want to fence it off and give big business websites priority over the little websites because they dont want to pay to upgrade their infrastructure. It's all to make more money off of us, that's bullshit!

  • LOL, did I make you cry a little? Listen "DAD" you are the one who is in opposition of net neutrality. I believe the burden falls on YOUR shoulders to convince me and all the ones who are for it. It's not like I came into an anti net neutrality thread and started spewing my opinions with out wanting to back them up. Talking to your co-workers over the watercooler doesnt count. So I ask you again, where are you getting your info? You've dodged the question so far.

  • Son, I am far from done trying to stop this bad legislation from passing. However, you refuse to post any legitimate arguments except for calling me names like a special interest group or telling me I fail to change your mind without any real debate on the issue. You want to argue against my points without posting anything to support your view. You seem more in line with the special interest method of debate than real intellectual conversation. Why do we need this legislation?

  • Aww, he's losing his temper...typical. Don't let the door hit you on the way out Mr Sr. Network Important guy.

  • As a Sr. network engineer for an ISP I at first thought Net Neutrality was a good thing. However after investigating it, the reality is that it hurts more than it helps. It is never a good idea to put regulations on private business. YOUR PURCHASE POWER DOES MORE TO CHANGE THEN GOV. REGULATIONS. When the government puts regulations on private business it causes smaller ISPs to be unable to compete. Then you loose competition and choice. Private operators make the internet what it is
