I personally like this series better, the animation style is so much smoother and the action sequences are just amazing. Sure TLAA was amazing, but it was so slow. I love the character development in this show. You can really connect with them in a short amount of time. Can't wait for season 2 ^___^

0:24-0:26 she wasnt waterbending, lin bei fong(toph's daughter) just help her made the jump with metal bending. Try looking episode 6 - and the winner is. Epic.

And also Korra is way more iller than Aang, but Aang is still my second favorite character in anything ever.

Even when you don't compare it to the tv show, its not that good of a movie. The acting was blah and boring, the characters weren't very interesting, the bending was over exaggerated(especially the earth bending) and there was alot of "You don't say?" moments. The music, however, was great and as far the source material, M. Night was pretty close. It just should've been overseen by Mike and Bryan.

It isnt replacing Avatar. The Last Airbenders story is over so this is the only way to continue the saga. It is a sequel.
