Mix a little platforming in with a point and click adventure game and you get Cosmic Spacehead. Released on multiple platforms but this is the Sega Genesis version.

  • @BackForwardPunch Well the platforming was based on the original Linus Spacehead game from Quattro Adventure, so I like to think that they threw in the adventure parts so it wouldn't be all just a hard platformer.

  • I had this game for the master system , greatest game i owned then lol

  • You ever play the Myst games? They're classic point and click adventure games, it would be so cool if you did a video on them.

  • This game looks pretty cool! Definitely never seen a mixed adventure / platformer like this before.

  • Great video! I couldn't have done a better review of this game myself. It sure does lend itself to getting a bad name quickly but you gotta really give it time to grow on you. You got way farther than I ever did!

When you said "watch what it does in the Genesis" I thought you were about to say it doesn't work. lol

  • I have very fond memories of buying Codemasters games for my Amstrad cpc back in the 80's and early 90's

I'm still looking for a copy of Slightly magic though!

  • are code masters the folks that made all those wierd unlicensed bible games for the nes? i played them at my friend's house. i remember the noah's ark one where you had to collect the animals. it was pretty lame!

  • codemaster's sucks as a gaming company!!!!

  • i bought this game like the same week you got it... saw it the store.. I had to pick it up haha

  • most codemasters games on the megadrive are weird. take the micromachine carts for example, theyre supercool with the extra controller ports on the top, but how strange for a cartridge and an idea!

even the codemasters game gear carts are different too, look at that CJ The Elephant game (i think its called CJ anyway) its massive!

quite interesting to see how codemasters have panned out since their early days eh? very successful!

btw. nice touch with the nomad overlay there
