Canadian Army Reserve Recruiting Presentation. If you are interested in joining the Canadian Reserves you should watch this! It gives a lot of information about joining and you may have to see it a few times to get all the information. You should contact your local Recruiter for more up to date information.

  • @BeatsByWeight Man i dont know, wrote that comment like 4 months ago, dont wanna watch the hole video again.

  • I'm in the us army reserves.. We dont chose if we get deployed or not.. They make us lol

And if we quit we get a dishonorable discharge plus 5 years in prison for abandonment...

  • if I'm on the "merit list" for regular forces how, if at all, will joining the reserves affect my application?

  • @CORPORALcartman What button, I dont see any button undone.

  • Reserves

    :-)

  • @royalmarine1011 i have some question

  • Has this video been authorized, there is pictures of CTAT covered equipment. You trying to spark a diplomatic incident with the Yanks?

  • I have questions to ask of though.

I know everyone who joins goes through basic training (got that out of the way) but I was going to ask, do you need to pick either artillery or infantry for part time as one of your chosen jobs to continue on with a trade? Because really I just wanted to pick, Cook, Imagery Technician (Really want this one), or plumping and heating technician.

  • @BothtaweeKelly Also, it depends on what trade you plan to join. Some MP's are reserves but you need police foundations or anything related to that or law to join them (youngest I heard in the MP's was 19). Combat engineers might need carpentry and or auto-motive high school credits. Check with your local recuiter for details on the unit you plan to join.

I might be able to help you more, but I can't always give a positive answer for I havn't joind the CF yet. I'm in my 6th year of cadets.

  • @hockeyspencer1 If you listined towards the end, you have to be between the ages of 16 - 57. You do not have to be in cadets but it does help (I'm a Flight Sergeant in air cadets). However, cadets and I believe the reserves does their timing on drill differently from the regular force which make the regular for not like cadets as much. they still like them but it falls under attitude. (Example: attention - at ease in cadets is "up down" but regular is "1, 2 (or 1, 1)"
