Gil Scott Heron dies May 27th 2011 then Dr. Wangari Maathal die's at 71 years old .Sept. 25, 2011 in Nairobi.

GIL SCOTT HERON dies at 62. in NEW YORK
this last friday, May 27th. 2011. Our Iconic Poet / Musican.
He was the first artist I ever took pictures of, I was 14 years old and I loved his music ! He was very nice to me that day..I just did a edit, useing his song 'WINTER IN AMERICA' (Brain Jackson on flute.) this last April.,with footage I shot in New York. ! It's on 'Leah Radio # 5'.

2010 Lena Horne died May 9th same day as Leah's mother's death in 1982 . Ms. Horne was 92 years old and passed in New York ,sunday on mother's day, Leah had been listening to her music from the great broadway play Lena Horne 'LADY and HER MUSIC' for two month's before her passing this year. Leah Tunkara say's 'This was the greatist play I ever seen on Broadway ! ...and to think that she was 60 year's old when she MADE her own hit BROADWAY show , it had a very long run to.
It was and still is, a big inspiration to me. She was a singer, actress and a very grand , civil right's activist ! FUNNY,DOWN TO EARTH ,POWERFUL ARTIST !
IN 2009 Michael jackson died and Chaka Ra (Leah's daughter) has a rare autograph record cover from him, address to Chaka Ra.

LOVE NEVER DIES. We sometimes forget (NO WE ALWAYS FORGET AT BIRTH) We are SPIRITUAL BEINGS in a HUMAN EXPERIENCE. It is not that we begin "here" and then leave "here" to go to "wherever" we are going. We left "THERE" to come "here" for a short while to learn what we're able to ONLY in our biological BEING. When people we LOVE and/or admire return to the TRUTH we feel a loss because we feel they have parted never to return. This is a feeling because WE FORGET we once LEFT and will RETURN>HOME.
