Flyby of near Earth asteroid 2007 TU24 29 January 2008

Asteroid 2007 TU24 was about 675000 kilometers from the Earth at the beginning of this animated sequence on 29 January 2008. The magnitude was about 10.7, easily seen in modest astronomical telescopes. The sequence of images was taken with a 60 cm telescope at the Črni Vrh Observatory in Slovenia.
