Marathon part 2/5

We walked into the house to find Nick and Kevin on the couch watching T.V. This was going to be so much fun.
"Hey guys," I said.
"Hey," they responded.
"Did you guys see the group of fans that are out by the pool?" Joe asked.
"There's fans out by the pool?" they asked shocked.
"Yeah," we replied as both Nick and Kevin got up to go out to the pool. Joe and I followed behind them smiling at each other.
"There's no one out here," Kevin said.
"Yeah, what are you guys talking about?" Nick asked. By this point they were close to the edge of the pool.
"1,2,3," Joe said as we both pushed Kevin and Nick in the pool.
"You guys suck," Nick said half joking.
"That was so not cool and so not funny." Kevin said.
"Yeah it kinda was funny," I said as Joe and I stood there laughing.
"Well, help us out," Nick said and when we did we were pulled back into the pool.
"It doesn't work as well when we've already been in the pool," Joe said.
The next was busy yet relaxed at the same time. Senior Prank Day was a lot of fun and the teachers were pretty chill about the whole thing. They didn't mind at all that there was a giant inflatable slide in the parking lot. A lot of teachers went down the slide, including our principal. Then there was the class trip to this resort type place, which had a pool, volleyball, rock walls, and a bunch of other cool stuff.
"Isn't it great to be a senior?" one girl asked me.
"Totally, only two days of exams and then we'll be done with high school," I replied.
"It's kinda scary," she said.
"Yeah, but I'm glad to be done with high school," I replied.
The next few days I spent locked up in my room studying for my two exams, which luckily weren't on the same day. I had been studying for three hours straight when my phone rang. Half of me welcomed the interruption, the other half hated it because I was just starting to get into a groove.
"Hello," I said answering the phone.
"Hey, I'm bored, Nick is hanging out with Alex and Kevin is with Namra. You want to come over?" Joe asked.
"I really wish I could, but I have to study for my Calculus exam right now, sorry," I replied. "I would much rather be with you than stuck here studying math," I said.
"Alright, well good luck and I'll see you on graduation day," Joe said.
"Thanks, see ya," I said hanging up the phone. I sighed as I went back to studying.
My two exams went by quickly and were fairly easy. Physics I pretty much winged it, but I should be okay. Finally it was graduation day and I was so excited. First was the senior breakfast, which was basically free food and time to hang out with friends while the underclassmen were in school taking their exams. Then I was able to go home for a few hours before heading back to the school for graduation rehearsal once exams were done.
"Everyone knows who's walking them down right?" our principal asked. Everyone nodded and then we were lined up in the order we would be graduating in.
"Remember who you are next to," one of the teachers that was helping out told us. I looked next to me to make sure I knew who I was next to. How could I not remember that Im next to Leigh?
"Make sure when we call your name that we pronounce it right," our principal said. "When your name is called you will walk up, shake my hand then go to the representative from the Board of Ed to get your diploma. Diploma in your left, shake with your right," the principal instructed.
We quickly ran through the graduation and then we were able to leave. Joe, Nick, Kevin, Alex, and Namra all came over to my house before we left for graduation. I had picked out a cute summer dress to wear under my gown. And of course there were tons of pictures with every combination of people possible. I grabbed my cap and gown and headed out. I drove with Joe, Nick, and Alex in my car. Kevin and Namra went in one car and my parents in another.

I remember my brother's graduation. It started raining! Pouring actually. Let's hope that kind of stuff doesn't happen on Alyssa's graduation. :D

haha same here and then when we moved inside the lights decided to go off for a bit during the national anthem lol... it was a very interesting graduation haha
