Seth of Severe Torture recording drums for Infected Flesh.wmv

This is me recording drums for the 2010 promo from Infected Flesh. All I brought to Spain was a pair of Balbex 7a Ultra Jazz, the rest was loaned and gathered in a few days. It's more like the old style Severe Torture drumming, but nevertheless brutal death metal! We expect to record a full length album in 2011. One of the promosongs is already on my myspace. Thanx! This is a different blast then I use nowadays with Severe. I did this blast on the first 2 albums, it goes up until 280 bpm. With Severe you will see me do a single foot blast now, different technique, but with a lot more control in my left hand. I can do 250 bpm max. It's a combination of arm,wrist,fingers. But since this stuff really asked for the 270-280 I did the old blast again. In this blast the bassdrum and snare are at the same time. With Severe it's bassdrum and ride together.

Hey fucking great video. Howcome in this video you are blasting with your fingers and int he severe torture video it looks like you're using your whole arm instead of just fingers?
