A tremendous original song in 9/8 (with some short parts in 12/8 and 4/4) ! Source of inspiration : Dave Brubeck's amazing Blue Rondo. Make that odd time swing, baby ! Thanks to you for watching ^^

@kzd444 : help yourself here http://www.miq.be/repupload/190.jpg (Kritik guitar parts).

  • i see a re-occuring trend in your songs, that is you mainly play 4/4 straight over the odd time signatures of the other instruments; just saying it is one way for a person to develope their own style but variation is good too

  • Hey, Derek. Thanks. Your analysis is quite accurate ! I could go on and talk about this style of music and why I play it that way, but that would suck ^^

Variation : Ive got a straight 4/4 tune which Ill post in a few weeksgreat original songs of yours, btw.

  • And, well...I hope you realize there is a lot more work involved in my videos than just playing 4/4 over o.t.s. ^^

  • Cool tune, you really rock the 4 piece!!! Some electric guitar would sound great with this. Did you write all the music?

  • Thanks, Ken. Yes, like you, I write every note of the songs I post ^^

And yeah, I'd really like to have all those parts played by real humans, but It ain't easy to find the right persons round here, so synths help ^^

  • Hey, just gimme your email address and I'll send ya the midi file ^^

  • Yehhhhhh Thomas,

Voor mij nog steeds de number 1 on V/drumscontest yaaaa.........Je gaat nog steeds lekker on da drums..........Master Ostinato.....................Dikke Groet Duncan

  • cool shit man this song is funky as hell..great drumming of course 5/5 fav

  • Nice drumming, nice kit... what else can I say? Good work.

  • I do realized that, I was merely stating what my first impressions of some of your songs were; not dissing you or anything, just thinking outloud heehee

  • It's pretty cool music, but real instruments would sound even better. I'm limited to what I can play on guitar or bass, I would love to collaborate with my bandmates, but everyone is too busy.
