Hello, I have this macbook and I also run windows parallels in it.

How much of an improvement it will be if I add more RAM? I would be doubling it to a total of 4 Gigas of RAM

The most power / RAM you can afford, music software sucks the life out of your mac especially if you are layering lots of tracks. I use my macbook for making tunes and its ok but needs a bit more memory for layering over 10 tracks

@zubbubbi know it's late but be careful an iMac that is the same price as a MacBook is usually just as fast but the video memory can be low so make sure you check our you wont be watching he
