Agreed.. and musician/singer in the ABB bodies anybody in the Dead. I love GD, but ABB were on another level. Esspecially in their prime with Duane.

@rrr1063 Very true. Also, it wasn't a peach truck but a crane truck.

@rrr1063 It was a lumber truck, but yeah...the truck driver was found to be 100% at fault. He made a left turn in front of Duane's Harley as he was about to enter the intersection, and then when Duane aimed around him he saw a pot hole and stopped, dooming Duane Allman, who might have glanced off the back of the truck- unknown for sure- but was airborne. Cycle landed on his chest, Nothing to do with drugs that day, just fate.
I briefly lived on that street- Hillcrest- while I was in college.

It was available mail order from the director .. back then .. VHs. this is only half of it by the way. It may be worth a search or two to see what you can turn up. :)
