Yawn.....just my opinion but i don't hear what's setting him apart from thousands of other players who prob. auditioned. He seems like a cool dude, and a good player but that's where it stops for me. I've been a Sabbath/Ozzy fan for YEARS and I thought "Scream" was absolutely terrible...almost as bad as "Black Rain" (the last studio album with Zakk) Besides Ozzy being pretty much a novelty act...which is kinda sad to say...the days of Oz bringing up a killer new guitarist are def. gone.

Gus is good. No denying that. He impressed me in Hollywood this year. Many long time Ozzy fans are reserving opinion. As they say 'playing songs written by the greats does not make him one. It's what he creates with Ozzy, that will be the true test of his mettle. He has much to live up to before he can be called a great.' I'm excited to hear what he brings to the table. I loved what I heard in Scream. I think unfettered he's going to blow us all away...
