Hello, can you please tell me what concentration has the methanol you use? and if the 90% concentration is also good for the reaction. Cheers !

I buy a drum of methanol I guess it is pure methanol.
I use 4 litres methanol per 20 litres used oil

1) When you heat the oil, how long do you keep it heated at that temp (>50 or 60 deg F? or C?)?
2) Is Fuelite the same as methanol?
3) Is there a part three to this video/ When one washes a 2nd time, is that the usable biodiesel fuel?

Thanks!!!

is the tritation necessary? I did not see you do that step.

Only if you have your waste oil from a different places and the quality varies each time.
These measurements I were taught were given after titration results showed little variance.
If the oil from the top 8/tenths is used and the thick grissily sludge disguarded the oil should separate from the dark coloured grunge with no problem.
I have not tried Titration and wish I was taught an easy way to titrate.
Thanks on the comment
