Dry firing percussion revolvers will damage the nipples.

Rotating the cylinder directly after a misfire was brilliant. Doing it twice? DOH!
People,.. always wait 1 minute with the gun down range in case of a slow burn. Having a cylinder go off out of alignment with the barrel is not fun, and lead flies after smashing into the side of the pistol. You may find some of it in your fingers. Crimping the percussion caps with your finger prior to pressing then on will keep them from falling off from recoil as with these numb nuts. Read and learn first.

Keep on clicking like that, and the nipples are gone.

The five minutes of silent commentary was very informative. It fully explained the jam up during live fire, not to mention the useful comments on the Plus & Minus differences between the replica and original. Come on guys! What were you thinking? What are we to gain here? Speak!

Nice revolvers, Im going to have 3 Starr Revolver videos up soon. But, AHHH what are you doing, shooting an original??? Save that for the reproduction.

What load and projectile were used and what distance to target?
Ghstwn: you misunderstand the situation: the percussion caps did not go off, as the main spring was not strong enough in SA mode. So there was no chance of slow ignition. So watch first. ;)

Well, these guns were designed for shooting in combat. If it is in good condition it is strong enaught today as well for shooting. With proper care they perform better that any replicas.
