There's some speculation Guilty Spark may have had a fragment of Chakas in him, and other fragments of him may have been in other Monitors, such as the one found at Kholo.

@Relugus I believe he is Chakas, not just a fragment. He must have been one of the humans who were transfered into monitor. Maybe he survived when he exploded in the last level of Halo 3, hence why his memory is rapidly failing, and he was been accessed by a Human wanting information about the Didact.

Chakas is indeed Guilty Spark, and my assumption is that ONI retrieved guilty spark sometime after Halo 3. Guilty Spark/Chakas gave oni all the events and memories (his story) that had happened, but at the end it seemed Guilty Spark came back to life and is now controlling the oni ship (holding ONI captive) but for what (some) purpose. Based on speculation, im going to assume masterchiefs new enemy will be human or possibly flood.
