@G088Y - They are very quite. Good for covert operaations.

"Right lads, we've sneaked up to the enemy, they're 300 yards away and all sleeping soundly, now if you'll all get out and fire up your big diesel generators, we can put these puppies on an 8 hour charge ready to go home...."

@apage251 Not true with modern LiPO. Almost all Lipo fires are from overcharging. Any decent BMS (battery management system) will protect the pack at the cell level to prevent any overcharging.

Nice, muslims are not going to hear them coming :)

@MyShelfSpace probably about 10 miles.....but that gets cut down to about 3 miles if you run the Air Conditioner and drive over 30 mph.

Obama approved, put a wind mill on it to charge the battery. LMAO
How is it going Contract wise in general speak ? I push this puppy in my favorites to all my EX SSF buddies and they wish we'd had a couple in the 8CH and the RCD's doing recce op's !!!

@Steacy783 No contracts. The military lost interest when Obama admin came in. The vehicle was designed to go into the CV-22. It operates on hard pack terrains - like Afganastan. It has to be lightweight to get long battery life - so no armor. It is a recon vehicle - let the UAVs to the fighting once targets are located.

@sonicboomracing Yes - 2wd. Not good for soft surfaces, but this was built for hard packed desert areas.

@darwlj The motor is an Azure Dynamics 50kW with controller. The batteries are lithium ion manganese dioxide with a battery management system.
