Transcribed from the famous Free Reed recording of Tommy Williams playing this on duet concertina, this is my adaptation for Anglo concertina. I later discovered that this is in fact a version of a tune popular in Germany and Austria caller Der Schneewalzer (Snow Waltz). Tommyevidently composed and added the middle section (where it changes key) and retitled it.
It's not possible to reproduce on an Anglo concertina the complexity that's possible on a duet system, but I hope I've got as close as possible to the spirit of the original. I'm indebted to Iris Bishop and Ralph Jordan, who both play this tune on MacCann system duet concertinas, for giving me some ideas about chords. The descending bass line in the reprise of the first part of the tune, however, happened by accident when I was learning it and I thought it was too good not to leave in as a variation.
Enjoy!

I found your version to be very enjoyable.

That's pretty darn good, given the limitations of the Anglo, but then you are a pretty darn good player, Anahata.

That's a very complex arrangement for an Anglo and really nicely played. Great encouragement, thanks!

Very good - I've got this being played by Iris Bishop on Elsies Band CD. The difference between a McCann duet and your Anglo is quite remarkable!
