This is my first attempt at modeling a skyscraper. It's also my first attempt at matching cg to live action video. Everything was done in blender, including the final composite. The video was shot with my little Sony video camera, then run through voodoo camera tracking software and brought into blender. The skyscraper was modeled in blender and is loosely based on the Norton Building in Seattle. The model is lit with a light probe that I shot at the same time as the background footage, which you can also see in the building's window reflections. The building is not meant to be architecturally sound, just look decent enough.

@dsquare97 Thanks! I like your gun fight video. Check out the links in the description. They'll show you pretty much how to do it. BlenderGuru is really great, and CGCookie on vimeo.com too. There are a bunch of really great tutorials for learning Blender and Voodoo (for camera tracking) on YouTube already. Just do a search, and you'll be making awesome stuff in Blender in no time.
