Video was shot inside the Fort Wayne sewers. The remote controlled camera eventually gets submerged and surrounded by grease build up. Fort Wayne City Utilities is asking residents to avoid sending fats, oils and grease (FOG) down the kitchen sink or flushing it down the toilet. Instead they should be thrown in the trash. The City of Fort Wayne spends more than an half million dollars a year cleaning grease out of our sewer lines. When grease gets into the sewer it can harden and build up, causing blockages in sewer lines and even home plumbing.
