why do the leaders keep looking back and then falling out of first place? I dont get this and i'll never really get cycling 5 laps and calling it a race; I've always went endurance and mountains; this boggles me.

nvm i see; if you lose pace you have to get out of way; + it all comes down to the last 2 laps. Eitehr way I prefer endurance races.

yeah, the strategy is to be around the top 5 people by the last two laps and to have someone really strong on the front to lead it out, it favours the sprinters.
