@dy30n I only ask because the only mentions I can find about this demo tape is on last.fm playlists and torrent sites both of which are notorious for people uploading things but marking them wrong. Also Jon Crosby's ASCAP profile mentions nothing about the song "Schizophrenia" and yes people do get unreleased demos copyrighted in case of situations such as these. (although admittedly ASCAP is not completely comprehensive in that regard hence I'll check BMI once it opens for me).

@dy30n Do you have a reliable source to back that up because, judging by my research of VAST, VAST didn't exist before 1998 (same year Cardigans' Gran Turismo was released). Also I've seen mentions of this demo tape (the Jon Crosby one) but no year of it's supposed creation nor even a picture of the real thing (people have referred to it as a demo tape hence I assume there's a physical copy of it). All I can find is mentions of it but no definitive proof that what you're saying is true.
