This unique Controller provides the ideal way to add more bass without changing an entire OEM radio system. The MX-4 converts and filters high-level factory speaker wires into ultra-clean unbalanced (RCA) low-level signals to an aftermarket amplifier. This unit also features a variable signal output from 4 volts to 9 volts.

  • What is the input wattage of this converter?

  • @big16g4g63 The MX series of high-to-low level converters handle up to 40V of high level input.

  • so does this pretty much do the same thing as a line output converter does?

  • @bordermexican99 That is exactly what it is.

  • hey so good your videos but i have a doubt...

If im connecting this converter im losing the two font speakers chanells?... and i need another amplifier for speakers? thanks and sorry but i dont speak so good english. thanks.

  • You do not loose your speakers with this. You simply splice (tap) into the line to each speaker. Signal is still sent to your speakers, but it is now also sent to the MX-4.

  • I just got my MX-4 and after installing it I noticed that it will stay on along with the amp for approx. 5 minutes, is this normal?

  • Do you have to T-Tap if you are adding from a bmw factory amp and rear speakers intersection? I bought this unit to add a sub and mono amp but am a lil lost

  • how is this different from a normal line output converter?

  • Im looking to tap into a factory speakers where the factory amp meets in the trunk of my BMW my question is. Where do I tap the orange wire where you state goes to the back of the factory head unit. Where d I tap if im coming from the amp area instead?

  • I have a question. We hooked the pink and yellow wires up to the wiper blades to get the 12V. It says that the yellow wire needs a constant 12v. Does that mean I have to hook the yellow wire directly to the battery?
