Representatives of five federal agencies on Tuesday presented the Obama administration's new plan for reducing prescription drug abuse and saving lives. Carol Pearson reports.

  • Under the Health Care Plan that President Obama is telling us that we should have that will be the way they will treat those with sever medical problems or the elderly. No more operations for you. You aren't a benefit to society anymore. Don't believe me? Read the inspiration for this plan- Ezekiel Emanuel- Rahm's brother- Principle(s) For The Allocation Of (or for) Scarce Medical Intervention. READ IT, then tell me if you really want that kind of treatment.

  • @PEACEWAVENOW...YES I AGREE WITH YOU...ITS MORAL AND EDUCATION PROBLEM, NOT CRIMINAL THAT IS TO BE TACKLED BY POLICE..

  • Yes prescription drug abuse is a problem, as is a big part of the governments typical solution..putting more people in jail. As it is now, America (the "land of the free") has the world's highest incarceration percentage of civilian population.....This problem is a matter for doctors, pharmacists and parents.....NOT THE POLICE....But the police will no doubt be offered grant money in exchange for aggressive enforcement, and more people go to prison, and no one cares.
