Lightning strikes Moon Palace in Punta Cana

Lightning struck a building at the Moon Palace in Punta Cana. The fired burned the entire roof. The resort didn't have the proper equipment to put out the flames.

no, it was pretty nice the whole week. Clouds would role in in the afternoon on most days. It would rain for a bit overnight night. The days were absolutely gorgeous. Even after this storm, which lasted about 2 hours, we were able to hang out at the pool.
