@ejdub85 Sorry that you didn't understand my comment. First I said I wasn't sure after reading the video description what led to the chase. Then I said that I hoped that the three year old wasn't (and isn't) being hurt by the moron who drove at high speed with his son in the car, because anyone who would do that shouldn't be in charge of minors. I in no way took issue with the UPD.

@farnk : your response made no sense what so ever. FYI the chase was initiated after the vehicle fail to stop during a normal traffic stop. The reason for the stop was the driver had left his vehicle running and unattended. Throughout the enitire pursuit police were unaware that the driver had his 3 year old son in the car with him. It was not known that the 3 yr old was in the car until after the pursuit was over. The police took all the right measures throughout the entire incident.

Weird story. Not sure from the description whether they chased the car after it was no longer unattended and/or thought it was involved in a robbery. Either way hopefully the 3 yr old wasn't hurt beyond whoever's in charge of him and decided to give chase in the first place after leaving him in the car. Too many morons in charge of innocents it seems.
