  • The whole album - Demons and Wizards, is so unique, so far ahead of its time, even with its original heavy metal era release date [1972]. Circle of Hands is one of Ken Hensley's most potently memorable compositions. Wow what a treat to see pix of the band and to hear this again on You Tube - Dr. DXK

  • The Heep! Love them. My favorite tune on DNW. "Today is only yesterday's tomorrow". Are you kidding me? Great stuff!!!! Please come to Detroit again.

  • 1972 Live casset playing now in my car. It's been 40 years and still I loose myself in this music.WOW.

  • @SeanRatGoBlue I know Ozzy sings that line in a song as well. I think it might be from "thank god for the bomb".

  • Great song from a still great band and the pix were especially good! Thanx for posting.

  • when are we going to find a team as good as Uriah Heep again...? Hopeless I think.

  • kings of slide guitar!

  • @TheJanisjoplin58 Amen. Read through any of UH's early lp lyrics, and I'll stack Hensley's up against anyone.

Love, fantasy, and rock-n-roll with a dark twist to it. Byron, Thain, Kerslake and Box...somebody help me.

  • Well, we all know what opinions are like and as for mine, I dont feel I could ever label any of the Heep's songs as best or better than another. They were such a dynamic band and their music touched my soul. Suffice it to say that the group doesn't have a bad song in their long list of greats!!!!

  • thoof2001-

UH's ultimate song is "Sweet Freedom" IMHO...they have 35+ albums and their heyday was w/ the originals in the 70's - 80's- Most notably, Ken Hensley, David Biron, Mick Box (whom I shared the stage w/ in June 2011 in Londonderry, NH thank you!) and Gary Thain...Their Sweet Freedom album is only one in a litany of classic, operatic rock. They don't get the air-time/ credit they so deserve!

  • @ricksyou I don't mean to be pedantic, but if this is their penultimate song, what do you consider to be their ultimate song?

  • eu adoro essa musica

será q tem algum video com legenda dela??
