The 1985 Tournament of Champions concludes with current champion, Stephen Nadeth with a Sprint time of 13.0 seconds for 4 words, a record time there! Former Scrabble champions Annie McCormack ($55,500) and Jeff Kaplan ($20,000) play in their final game to determine who will face off against Stephen's time, and the winner plays for at least $49,000 in the jackpot. After it's all said and done, Mike Gilooly returns as Sprint champion with $5,000 and 2 wins away from upping his total to $20,000, with new challengers Al and Sunny. Scrabble Sprint there is played and then the closing credits. Charlie Tuna announces
