    Those words are from Lord Byron's Seige of Corinth poem

  • I don't know if you know this, but the words Thomas Alma Kenny used "It rose that gentle mourful strain..." were from a poem written by Lord Byron in talking about the Seige of Corinith

    Still, they do seem to make a brilliant description of the plains flute's wonderous tones.
