  • It annoys me that people think speed = no feeling, but this does lack musicality

  • Rusty Cooley, you're an ass.

  • @Alexiaden93 Oh fuck you man, do you really like this shit?

  • In all fairness it is good because its really fast, but it is just scales which anyone could do with sheer practice, id like to see him pull off a david gilmour solo with FEEL, ALL ABOUT FEELING!

  • that sounded shit

  • @FuckU2UBitch It's not PENTAtonic, it's heptatonic or diatonic. Why would you even call it pentatonic when you obviously have no clue what a pentatonic scale is?

  • @Murindal ... I said the concept of people expecting to see the musician burst with emotion is a cliché, but it seems you only read about one or two words of what I wrote. Emotion is fine, but it is a subjective reaction from the listener, and again you can't blame the musician if the listener can't associate his music with an emotion... And people agreeing with your opinion is meaningless. As I said it is a cliché, meaning it is a POPULAR but ignorant point of view.

  • @Alexiaden93 Emotions never should be declared as a cliché, but still without (real) emotions or whatever you want to tell it, music is nothing and the guy's music in that video is nothing and I am able to (mostly) generalise it because most people agree with my opinion, just look at the other comments

  • @Murindal You are supposed to convey a song. The response comes from the person who listens to the song, and the inspiration that caused the song to be composed could come from anything, which isn't up to the listener to judge. If you can not detect any emotions, that is not the composer's problem, but yours. Clearly the emotions of this solo are evident in what it took for this person to become so skilled. Emotions in music are such a cliché, people forget what emotions are.

  • @Alexiaden93 So why would you play an instrument or make music then? I guess you want to express feelings and emotions, either by playing in instrument or by lyrics.
