Ok heres my interpretation.So basically Len,Rin,Miku,Meiko ect. are all a part of this organization against the masked people.So Miku the strongest member quits and joins the masked. After that every body else in the organization is killed off by the masked till its just Rin.She blames Miku for the death of her friends.So she seeks revenge and kills Miku.But as Miku is dying Rin feels conflicted.But Miku still dies.

Len,Miku,Rin and everyone else are all in an organization and i guess Miku liked Kaito but he got possessed by the Masked so Miku killed him because of this she felt regret and let herself go into grief so she got possessed also.Before becoming completely possessed she gives Rin the gun in order to save her and be free from it.Rin doesn't want to kill Miku because their friends but she knows she has too.After Miku dies it Teito is then possessed.

@xBluexStarx13 I think Miku joined the masks because of the death of Kaito. It looks like she kinda lost it, when he died, and went with the masked guys. It doesn't look like she just up and quit...to me anyway. Not trying to sound like a jerk or anything, just my thought on it

Me thinks Miku and Rin were in an organization to stop the "Masked Devil" who somehow posseses and influences people. Miku and Kaito were in a relationship, until he was taken over by MD and Miku killed him. After killing him, the MD was passed unto Miku, she gives Rin her gun before being fully controlled and leaves. Because Rin is in the organization, she has to kill the new MD, Miku. Once Rin kills her she, like Miku, feels regret and inherits the MD too, and carries on "infecting" people.
