A Message to Certain Twilight Fans

PLEASE READ

If you can't tell from my voice in the video...I'm very nervous XD
I'm even more nervous about uploading this over how both sides of this argument will react to my approach on this whole thing.

Like I said in the video I'm not taking sides, I just want to not only explain to Twilight fans that are physically attacking or verbally attacking people that either don't like the books or don't find it to their taste is not doing them or their fanbase any good.

I've never read the books or seen the movie so I don't know how good or how bad the book is, and frankly at this point I don't care, what I do care about is just giving my own approach on this matter.

I agree with 100% of what you said. Though I do not like Twilight, it is refreshing to hear somethign from an objective third party. I too am a yaoifangirl and otaku so I can relate to being apart of a fanbase with an unfair stereotype. However, none of the fanbases that I have ever encountered, be them my own or those of my friends had the level of violence that the Twilight fanbase does. Something really needs to be done about these out of control fans before someone gets killed.

I read, and thought the books were okay, and I personally turned into a hater, because my friends ditched me, and I was constantly bullied. I wouldn't hate it so much if all this would just STOP. Its kinda slowed down now. But my two ex-BFFs are still pestering me and snubbing me about it.

I only liked book two becuase Edward left....I only kept reading becuase I wanted to see what happened to the characters

A huge chunk of people who "passionately hate" Twilight haven't even read the books - and I think they're pretty decent, and I don't even like vampire romances that much. But really, I think the people that radiate hate for Twilight (immediately stating it the SECOND somebody brings it up/attempting to convert or harass fans) are just as bad as those who preach its "super awesome amazingness" (such as the violent examples/attempting to convert or harass those anti-fans).
