@NorthernLitesx I was like 8 or 9 when Joey hit the TV screens on a kids programme called 'Blue Peter'...blue as in the colour, not a porno deal. Anyway, the next day in the playground (as with every playground throughout Britain) every single kid was pulling faces and "doing a Joey" impression.
It was amazing. Never in the history of the Human Race has one man (in a wheelchair) created such a total Playground Sensation as Joey Deacon. Joey you rock, We Salute You !

Joey Deacon was the man. And worth noting that he (via his pals in the care home) wrote a book, for f**ks sake. Which is more than 99.9% of the rest of us can aspire to achieve. Puts it in perspective. And he was a TV star. RIP Joey, gotta hand it to u... we started by laughing at you, & ended up laughing WITH u.
