@hgfjyrdetryu Thank you for this post. My only known background ancestry is Finnish or Swedish. My grandfather Leksen died long ago in Minnesota and my mother just went to take care of of her step father Wilson. When we were children my mother used to sing a song I always thought was from Scandanavian background and I am trying to find it. But, it may just be a childhood song from Minnesota. Don't know the name but it talks about 'Peter's flowing spring" and "a kookoo's cry through the wood."

I love song is so cute <3

@ljushuwe It's there when the ladies sing, so they know about it. The gents just have a little trouble with the pronunciation of that whole phrase. "Hvem kan råh utan aaååh-rar"

very nice indeed ;) but where did the "å" in åror go? :P

Beautiful voices, heinous dresses.
here are the translated lyrics:
Who can sail without wind?
Who can row without oars?
Who can part from their friends, without shedding tears?
I can sail without wind.
I can row without oars.
But I cannot part from my friends, without shedding tears.
please thumbs up so that every person can know how beautiful the meaning of this song is
