"Ode to the Motherland" is a famous patriotic song of the People's Republic of China, written and music composed by Wang Xin during the period immediately after the founding of the People's Republic of China (1949--1951). It was honoured by Chairman Mao as "the second national anthem" of China.

五星红旗迎风飘扬,胜利歌声多么响亮;

越过高山,越过平原,跨过奔腾的黄河长江;

五星红旗迎风飘扬,胜利歌声多么响亮;

我们勤劳,我们勇敢,独立自由是我们的理想;

五星红旗迎风飘扬,胜利歌声多么响亮;

东方太阳,正在升起,人民共和国正在成长;

五星红旗迎风飘扬,胜利歌声多么响亮;

  • Someone should have put a bullet through this fat ugly face before he fukked up China with the great leap forward. Mao, one of China most incompetent leaders ever. This coming for a Chinese person.

  • @kimfab1973 How powerful is Taiwan? The revolution made China a lot more powerful, and different from other countries as it's using a different system.

  • @14j3ketlgds

    I prefer Taiwan.

    Not every country has a Revolution.

    Sacrifying people what for: anti-democratic thinking? One party system?

    It's part of history and chinese people do not want to go back to this.

  • @kimfab1973 Well EVERY revolution has to start out as a crime. Sacrafices has to be made, some people have to be killed at some point, every country has that. Now it's part of Chinese history, a turning point in Chinese history into the new China of people's power. Now China has grew into a strong and prosperous country.

  • @14j3ketlgds What about The "cultural" revolution?

    70 millions of people died...it's not enough for you?
