Westie Meets Gopher

Our Westie 'Bonnie' gets face to face with a gopher. Our back yard has been overtaken by gophers. Up to now the problem with them is the four dogs we have seemed to dig after them. But then I realized our Westie, Bonnie, wasn't hunting as much as she was just hanging-out, watching the gopher.

One good thing about the gophers is they bring up a lot of better soil on our otherwise 'adobe' surface. I often rake-in grass seed and water the area. Gopher-sourcing landscaping has been mostly a success.
