This guy is very expressive with his gestures, being that most scientology talk and walk like zoombies, maybe he's new.
It's pretty funny watching him put his foot in his mouth, great video!!

Furthermore, there are no repercussions for leaving a Christian church or publicizing any perceived "falsehoods".
By contrast: Arnie Lerma left Scientology after learning OT III, and put the Xenu story on the internet. Scientology retaliated by obtaining an FBI search warrant and confiscating his computer.
Up until now, Scientology has publicly denied the Xenu story while simultaneously charging members money to learn it. The pagan origin of Christmas is a poor comparison.

If I understand correctly, the point you were originally discussing was that all religions have contradictions. I'm not disputing that. As far as Christianity celebrating Christmas in conjunction with the pagan winter equinox: This is not some closely guarded, "copyrighted" secret which is only revealed after one has given thousands of dollars to a Christian church.

Well many religions in one time or other has had dishonesty spread in the form of that religion such as Christmas is not really Christ birthday but was celebrated on that day for pagans to join the religion although this is not as serious a crime that you accuse Scientology of it still stands as a false hood told to join the faith and upon learning of said false hood if a person still chooses to stay then that is their choice. In which I must point out I was not originally discussing.
Yes that it is true it is not a closely guarded "copyright" secret but that doesn't stop people from knowing this closely guarded secret or someone to research into the faith they wish to join and I know they lie to them to pull them in and get their money well I don't see the problem because they choose to blindly follow and then continue to blindly follow even after finding out the truth. but they believe strongly enough who I'm I to say leave or what you hold dear as your faith is wrong.

So are you acknowledging that this is not a simple contradiction as in all faiths, but rather a deliberate deception? That was the original point of discussion, and it seems like you've conceded the point.

I'm sorry that my sarcasm did not come through but I was only conveying what you repeatedly keep telling me. Trust that I did not concede the point which might I add was not about Scientology's "deliberate deception" but about the contradiction/deceptions in all faiths.

Sorry I missed your sarcasm, because I thought we were having a serious discussion. And since you abruptly changed the topic to whether we should be critical of deception in religion, I assumed you were leaving the previous topic to rest.
Your chosen example of a comparable 'contradiction/deception' was celebrating Christmas on the winter equinox, which you did concede was not a copyrighted secret like the Xenu story. That remains a poor comparison; feel free to provide a better one.
