  • Roseanne was one of the only shows that really taught me something about life.

  • I always fight back tears when I hear dan saying "Roseanne....Rosey...Roseanne." This is a very underrated show. It calms me when i watch it and i love to watch reruns because its like my real life is forgotten for the half hour and i just drift into lanford into the conner family. Its rare for me to find a show that does that. This show has a very rare balance of reality, humor, and sadness. I will show my kids these shows one day and explain to them what good television is all about.

  • Natty Light!

  • The subtle stroke of genius from the final 'dinner table' scene- that's so under-appreciated- is how the writers deliberately 'de-sharpened' the dialog so it more closely resembled real people having a real conversation, rather than Hollywood's tightly refined version of how people talk. Real people don't sound like a sitcom episode. Our banter isn't as polished, our jokes aren't as consistently funny. This scene captured that to great effect, in a way that clarified the storyline premise. Bravo

  • Great show from S2-5, then it sort of derailed & they went from working class to trash. As for the ending, it was confusing as to whether things happened or not. Dan had the heart attack at Darlene's wedding so was she marrying Mark, did it happen elsewhere? Even though the last season was terrible & I don't like the idea it was all an illusion, the ending was one of the most emotional. I loved Dan and thought he Jackie made the show. So killing him off & Roseanne alone at the end was brutal.

  • THIS IS SO SAD AND A GREAT SHOW!!

  • @a1gu9st9in5 I agree, I think it's kind of funny that people I talk to shove the show off, because of it's age, until they see it and realize that even though it's closing in on 20 years after the fact, the show is still relevant and funny

  • anyone Think Bonnie, from scenes from a bbq, is singing the last intro of the show, meaning the slow one at the end here

  • @TheBookWorm1718 it was probably her reasonings for jackie not being able to handle having a man around... they got screwed up because jackie wasn't good with realtionships thats why she didn't have man and not because she was gay
