This demo from Intel IDF 2011, San Francisco shows the benefits of Intel Quick Sync Video technology. Until now, the complexity and intensive processing of encoding formats meant playing, burning, and converting video content to a new format could take considerable time. As a built-in component of all 2nd generation Intel® Core™ processors, this technology allows you to quickly create DVDs or Blu-ray* discs, edit videos, convert video files for your portable media player or smart phone/tablet, and convert videos for upload to your favorite social networking sites. This demo uses Cyberlink MediaEspresso software and there are other applications that take advantage of Intel Quick Sync. yay a real person talking , don't make them get so technical , seems like a nice guy but you have made him hit so many points you can see it was a slight struggle .
Just like yo we got 5gb video here and here lets see what's faster , I have 10 years in it support and i dont care about the details , give me a show i can say nice thats cool.
btw yeah gpu encoding is win, it is the dependency of the program your using i thought , i wish more programs supported gpu encoding.

AWESOME. Hardware video trans-coding! I've been waiting for this for so long. Now to wait even longer to get a CPU that supports this. >.>

still pleased with my 1rst gen from first year of i7. I have still this i7 920 in my PC that can run current gen (2011-2012) games. I will never go back to AMD.
