My name is Sean Maldonado CHECK OUT MY BAND: http://youtube.com/vidriosband http://facebook.com/vidriosband
For all you shredders.

Because of extreme demand, I'm not going to tab the vid, but I will provide more info.

The first sweep is the d chord in the d harmonic minor scale. It's 1, b3, 5, 1 and has a b6.
The second is in d minor, it is tapping embellishments of the g minor chord, root on the 5th string.
The last one is Bb maj. 7. Which means 1,3,5,7,8

**UPDATE** 3/16/08
Yes, the first one has delay. Not to be fishy, but because I thought it sounded pretty. The following two do not feature delay. I use my pinky when I need it. I need it on the second exercise, so I use it. Also stop thinking my theory is wrong and yours is better. I have years of background in theory, much more than in practice, and if anything in my video is 100% accurate, it's the theory. I did not write in embellishments, as they are not crucial to arpeggio construction. For more information, read a book.

Anyone who has any pressing questions, demands, comments, things they'd like to discuss, feel free to message me. And I'm not tabbing not to be a dick, but because it helps your eyes, your ears, and your mind. Rock on.
~Sean M.

EDIT 2: Some people have been making tabs of the video and sending them to me for corrections. I will revise tabs freely. I ask that you please check out my band- http://youtube.com/vidriosband

  • sir, can i have the tabs? pls! i wanna learn this!

  • @muzmurder3 Check out the info in the video for how I'm handling tab requests :)

  • dude, how do you create sweeps from say a scale or a chord, cuz i always hear people say like oh this is outlining the a minor scale or the C Major scale but then i dont know what the hell they mean.. maybe you could explain a little better it would help me out A LOT

  • @prayersofanathema Yeah no problem. So a sweep is really just a legato arpeggio, right? Thus the notes you choose to include in the sweep will come from a scale or outline a specific chord, depending on the notes. If you read the video description, I included all the scale degrees used to make my sweeps. Hope they help!

  • Some people mistook the "Unlike" button for a "Download Tab" Button. Just sayin'.

  • @systemofadiego Hahahaha that's awesome!

  • @prayersofanathema sweeps are fromed out of an arpeggios , an arpeggio is the single notes of a chord , so a c arpeggio would be playing the single notes of the c chord

  • @tomorrowmassacre

My bad, dude, I forgot to make a video. If I ever get around to it and make a video, I'll include tabs in the description. I'm out of school trough Monday, maybe I'll do it then, don't let me forget, though, it's all on you.

  • @PGspeed88 Can you email me the tabs please ?

  • I think I just fucking busted in my pants r fucking amazing

  • @muzmurder3

He clearly said he won't make tabs. If you want, I can do a video showing how to play it, with some tabs in the link. Might be a while before I have to the time to do so (should be done before Christmas), but I can do it if you really want me to.
