Left Hand Frank was one of the great unheralded blues guitarists on the Chicago scene in the '60s and '70s. In the '70s in sometimes played in the band of Chicago blues legend Jimmy Rogers, and in the late '70s played in Jimmy's band in Mexico City. The band also includes drummer SP Leary, harmonica player Big Walter Horton, and bass player Jim Wydra. He's performing his version of Freddie King's hit instrumental "Hideaway".
saw LHF and his House Rockers. Mac paid them to come play a college gig down at ISU - Normal, IL. Mac says Brewer Phillips was in the hand.

Frank was an amazing, unheralded guitar player. I got to back him up for a few nights many years ago here in NYC...

@2quundar yes, seems to be the same suit! In the" always same suit again" tradition , buddy Guy is the winners with a green suit for years, I think...Green? Kind of awful blue, don't know exactly.

Thanks for posting another video of Jimmy Roger's band in Mexico. Brings back a lot of great memories. Is there any chance you would have the video of Jimmy doing 'Walking By Myself"? Also any videos of the legendary S.P. Leary? What an incredible drummer he was and a gentle person. it was a thrill to play with all of them. Thanks for keeping the blues alive!!!
