Radical Games #27: Wagyan Land 3 (NES)

A decent little game that I randomly played back in late 2008, although it's the third instalment of the Wagyan series and is the one I like the most. It's got some nice catchy music I should say, although the music at 3:14 reminds me of the music you'd hear in Super Mario Bros 3.

For the games that occur at the end of some levels, you'd be surprised that I mastered the first one very well since I know many Japanese words. Like before, I stopped at the "gravity" level where you go from the right instead of left although I got a bit further in it than my last video of this. I honestly have to say that the level is... rather stupid.

I don't understand the "boss" fights...what is the objective?

To win against your opponent in those little games. The first one was pretty much "word chain" if you get what I mean and the second one was to match a pair of images.

Wow, the animations of the shooting reminds me of Bubble Bobble, the dragons shoot in the same way (meaning they have the same animation of opening their mouth like this dragon).

And Bubble Bobble was made by Taito, and this here by Namcot (the name of Namco for Famicom games), so you could clearly say the animation is a rip-off, lol.

I like the music, but I don't like quiz in any arcade game.
