  • In this library on one side it is African American Literture then on the other it is I'll say about half of the books I saw on here.I quickly scanned through some pages and for sure they are G.H.E.T.T.O. also you will be surprised at the sex talk in there.

  • Those books are more graphic than most of the porn I've seen. It's ridiculous.

  • Yeah true. The grammar is very ghetto also. The books are just filled with the ghetto mentality that people in the ghetto have.Drug dealing, etc.

  • And then they wonder why African American kids can't speak standard English. They blame it on everything but this. The messed up thing about this is, most of the writers in this genre are college educated and don't speak that way. Young kids reading this garbage believe that they are stupid just like them and set their expectations low.

  • Who.the Fuck are you to.judge..this is our slang part of some of our culture and just a way of life for some people if you.Dnt like it Dnt read but you r no better so go read what you read and eat a Dick while your at it

  • Ahhh shut the fuck up

  • I don't see nothing wrong wit having some of these books, but don't make your whole collection consists of these books

  • Woah... This is so true. Just another way ta keep us down

  • All true brother!!..

  • pimp is a classic book!

  • What I don't understand is, if you don't like something, then why don't you just stop reading and/or listening to it? There are plenty of things that I don't like, but I don't look down on people who choose to listen to and/or read it. It's the same thing with rap music. If you don't like it, then don't listen to it. People enjoy reading different things. Does it make you any less of a person just because you enjoy reading these types of books?
