@LiqnLag. I left 'Six of One' about 15 yrs ago ( I used to draw 'The Jailbird' strip). And as I recall, they slated 'Checkmate' at 4 simply because it was the 4th episode in production. However, 'Once Upon A Time' was filmed nearly a year before 'Fall Out' which is a good example as to why this method of ordering cannot be applied. One major problem was that Patrick McGoohan, Vincent Tilsley and Gerald Kelsey all believed they were writing the 2nd episode! BCNU...

The order of the original ITC broadcast, alluded to by Scott Apel, indeed placed Checkmate at episode 11 which really makes no sense. The ScifI Channel (which this broadcast predates over a decade ) largely uses the 6of1 organization's order, which places Checkmate at episode 4. Btw, in no major order is "it's you funeral" placed at episode 5.

Who is this guy?!!? Checkmate is 4th. Number 6 is still new but has been around long enough to confidently put an elaborate escape plan into action, unlike 'Free' and 'Dance'. In these episodes he was betrayed by women which explains why he doesn't accept the Queen's help, eventhough (ironically) she's genuine! His mistrust in women is cured in episode 5, 'It's Your Funeral'. BCNU...
