Also, imprinting introduces the theme of pedophilia. Imprinting is an instinct that insures procreation. That's all it's for. So when you have a grown man imprinting on a baby, it's not cute. That child is being set up for a certain man and has no choice in the matter.

Maybe because stalking IS scary. Shocking, right? Human or not, it's a felony and it IS a very creepy thing to do.

You do not breaking into someone's house and watch them sleep, knowing that every part of you want's to kill them.

"It's okay because he loves her" Do you realize how many stalkers actually have that mindset? It's a violation of privacy and it's WRONG. Period.

In the end, he turned her to save her life. She was dying and knew that it was her wish to be a vampire and so as his last act of love for her, he granted her wish, no matter how much it hurt him to do that. He thinks his soul is damned, but deep down, there's the hope that Carlisle is right, that they didn't lose their soul, as seen in New Moon, when Bella rushes to save him. He isn't shocked that he's in "heaven". He'd do anything for her because of his love. I don't need to explain that love
